The Ontario government has recently introduced childhood budgets for children with autism and their families. Childhood budgets are available for all children with a diagnosis of autism up to age 18. Childhood budgets provide families with direct funding so they can access a broader range of eligible services that they believe are most helpful for their child and family from the providers of their choice.
